Gridding and MergingClick the images to enlarge them in a separate window. GriddingGrids of any size can be processed. GeoIntrepid offer a number of advanced gridding options for your data. In addition to standard bi-cubic splining and minimum curvature methods, we also offer a variable density gridding option. This method delivers optimum results for data with variable spacing. Grids can also be generated from multiple datasets, thus removing the need to have all the data in a single dataset. This reduces the complexity of the processing sequence. Magnetic gradient enhancement gridding is also available. We make use of the collected gradient data to create a grid with enhanced resolution, compared to the gridded single sensor data. Example of horizontal gradient enhanced griddingClick the images to enlarge them in a separate window. Grid MergingErrors of more than 1000 metres in XY position, and up to 50 metres
in elevation are not uncommon |
