Reduction and LevellingClick the images to enlarge them in a separate window. Data reductionComplete data reduction services are available. Spatial and temporal coherence of surveys are checked. Flight lines are edited and clipped. Survey data is checked for noise and spikes. Automatic or manual spike detection and removal is completed using a Profile Editor. Heading, Parallax, Diurnal, IGRF and Navigation problems are corrected as required. Advanced levellingThere are two levelling methods, tie line based levelling and microlevelling. Tie line levelling methods include polynomial fitting to error estimates, and also loop closure levelling. These methods have been used successfully on a wide range of potential field datasets from many different sources. Other available methods include cross over analysis, rejection of bad outliers to improve the "goodness-of-fit", pseudo-tie line levelling for poorly acquired surveys. Full tensor levelling is current development work. With new vector and tensor data-sets, we are offering to analyse using the survey data itself for a range of systematic errors that commonly occur. In particular vector gradient heading errors in the four principal flying directions can be estimated and used to remove this effect. In a similar manner the self-weight of effects in gradient tensor data can also be removed. Decorrugation and microlevellingDecorrugation and microlevelling allow finer improvements to data, and are also used where tie line based operations are not possible. Re-levelling of older surveys is one of our specialty areas. INTREPID microlevelling methods have been applied with great success on a very diverse range of data sets. |
